A fun piece with my favorite president, Abraham Lincoln. In this painting Ole Abe has chosen to ditch the top hat in favor of the a pilots cap and goggles to truly enjoy the coin operated ride in front of the local Piggly Wiggly. I get the timing is a bit off here, but as a kid when my brothers and I went into town with Mom to get groceries this was our focus (well, after we made sure there would be pop tarts in the cart of course). Got to believe, given the opportunity Lincoln would do the same!
